伊藤義彥Yoshihiko Ito ，1951年生於日本山形，1977年於東京攝影學院畢業後，開始專注於利用攝影來表達時間與意識等抽象概念。伊藤義彥透過「印樣Contact Print」來呈現抽象概念，使用35mm的軟片連續拍攝，以印樣沖洗後，相片將按照時間順序排列，也因此每格畫面的拍攝角度與光線的捕捉都需經過縝密計算。一張張印樣相片結合成一大張攝影作品，時間凝結成無形，偕同意識的流動，全都記錄在這最後的完成品中。獨樹一格的攝影手法，令人讚談攝影家的巧思。
此次展出Yoshihiko Ito的四十多張KAGE系列，同時於6月2日（週六）14:30 藝術家Yoshihiko親臨現場邀請您一同參與開幕暨講座活動，千萬別錯過。

Yoshihiko Ito was
born in Yamagata, Japan, 1951 and graduated from the Tokyo College of
Photography in 1977. His works are unique contact sheets of a half
size camera which express one image on one contact sheet and invisible time and
conscious between subject and him on one contact sheet.
The printed image made from strips of film shot by a half-size split frame 35 mm camera are conceived to be seen as one image, as a pattern. The image contains a story of passage of time. In his words “in our world, no dividing lines exist in space or time. I live in this world observing things as they change or remain the same, or change yet so slowly that no one notices. These observations and imaginations guide the way for what I create.”
We are pleased to present over 40 pieces of prints from Yoshihiko’s Kage projects of 35mm file to contact print in 8”x10” paper. Each print tells the different stories. Welcome to join us meeting with Yoshihiko Ito as well as the artist talk on June 2nd Saturday 14:30.
