日本攝影家Toru
Komatsu (小松 透),首次來台舉辦個展,現場展出三十張大幅照片於2015-2017間所拍攝的知名系列作品 – STILL ALIVE (生命的奇蹟)
與a
distant shore ( 遙遠的海岸),紀錄與捕捉了日本受到地震和海嘯破壞後的景觀與猶存活下來的松樹,不論祂是筆直或傾斜,給大地帶來了希望與和平。
10月26日(週六)下午2:30 舉辦開幕茶會與攝影講座,透過攝影家小松透的親自分享所目睹生命之樹的奇蹟。
關於攝影家:
小松透 1969年生於宮城縣。 1994年畢業於多摩美術大學。
曾擔任攝影師,TokyoLightroom放印總監和RED Photo Gallery成員。
自1992年以來,他製作了以“靜物 Still Live”為主題的錄像與攝影作品 。
2016年11月,出版了Place M Publishing的寫真集《遙遠的海岸》。被選為日本Steidl Book Award的決賽入圍者。目前為德國出版商Steidl從事寫真集的工作

Toru Komatsu, the Japanese photographer who first came to
Taiwan to hold a solo exhibition, exhibited 30 famous photos taken from 2015 to
2017 – “still alive” and “distant coast”.
Komatsu photographed pine trees after the earthquake and tsunami in Tohoku
(northeastern) Japan. Whether they are standing or lying on the ground, this
brings hope and peace to life.

About Artist:
Toru KOMATSU was born in Miyagi, Japan in 1969. Graduated from Tama Art University in 1994. Currently living in Tokyo.
He is a Photographer, a member of RED Photo Gallery as well as th Printing Director of TokyoLightoom. His “Still Life” video and photographic works produced since 1992 with the theme. The 2016 Steidl Book Award Japan was selected as the finalists and is currently producing photobook at Steidl in Germany.
